Founded in 1982 Centristic has been operating in Devon as a supplier of structural steelwork to the construction industry including the design, fabrication and installation of bulk materials handling equipment.

ORGANISATION
Centristic operates in three main areas:
Design & Engineering
Centristic can handle projects from the early conceptual stage, working with clients' planning and development teams, through to full design, detailing, fabrication, erection and commissioning, either on turnkey or package basis. With a wealth of experience coupled with the benefit from recent investment in CAD and modelling systems, designs are innovative, competitive, and flexible, providing clients with robust solutions for their operational challenges.
Services
With an emphasis on site-work, and day-to-day operational support, this division provides in-house erection and cladding teams, and expert commissioning on major projects. It also operates a quick response service for production managers on repairs, breakdowns, maintenance and minor capital works. This includes fabrication and procurement of minor plant and associated structures, along with cladding and long term operational support.
Construction
Mainly working from client supplied designs to provide competitive detailing, fabrication, and erection to local contractors on a range of structural steel and metal work requirements, Centristic provides a quick response and excellent service to clients and contractors, from initial tendering through to planned and ad-hoc site works, striving always to meet clients' time and cost constraints.
MANAGEMENT
The senior management team comprises Roddy Grant who has been leading the business since mid-2008 alongside two long established members of Centristic - Alan Mann and Mike Harper, who oversee our Engineering and Design, and Construction divisions respectively. This team is responsible for overall planning and direction, major client relationships, and ensuring a seamless transition to a new generation of Centristic management.
Engineering and Design is headed up by Nic Mann and Andrew Don; each with their own portfolio of projects and clients, continuing the Centristic practice of one individual being responsible for bidding and executing any particular contract.
Services is managed by Mark Hewett and Gary Bowden. Originally with English China Clays, Mark and Gary are looking to build on their wealth of experience in both the quarry and building sectors, to develop Centristic's services offering.
Finally, Construction is managed by Rob Harper who co-ordinates bidding, execution, and contract management, as well as client relationships.
